MyConnectivity and the Commune de Berdorf join forces to bridge connectivity gaps in Luxembourg.
MyConnectivity and the Commune de Berdorf have partnered to address connectivity gaps, known as “White Spots,” in Luxembourg. Such areas lack access to ultra-high-speed broadband networks, including fiber, cable, and 5G fixed wireless options. The Connectivity Roadmap project with Berdorf aims to understand the reasons behind this lack of connectivity and develop solutions not only for Berdorf but for other communes facing similar challenges.
Currently, only 5% of Luxembourg’s territory lacks future-proof communication infrastructure. Berdorf, with a 40% coverage, is the most engaged in this pilot project, targeting around 400 households. The project will result in a Toolkit, which will help replicate these efforts in other areas by creating a sort of blueprint for communes nationwide
