MyConnectivity Academy

The development of electronic communications and connectivity technologies requires skilled professionals integrated into the economy. Like many other markets, Luxembourg faces a shortage of these competencies, which is why MyConnectivity is committed to addressing this challenge.

In consultation and partnership with the national ecosystem—including established training institutions and operators—MyConnectivity designs thematic training programs. At this stage, and in line with our strategic missions, we have prioritized topics such as vertical cabling and fiber splicing, though our collaboration model is not limited to these areas in principle.

Our Interventions to Date

2024

• Technician training on fiber optics principles, splicing, and OTDR testing in partnership with the Digital Learning Hub (DLH).
• General knowledge training on connectivity services and technologies, such as DOCSIS, FTTH, and WiFi in partnership with the Digital Learning Hub (DLH).
• Training for property managers in partnership with GSPL.
• Collaboration with DIH on Tour (LuxInnovation) to raise awareness among students of Lycée Émile Metz about fiber optics principles and career paths.
• Creation of a demonstration and training panel for implementing the ILNAS 108 technical standard on vertical cabling.

2025

• Training for property managers in partnership with GSPL.
• Technician training on fiber optics principles, splicing, and OTDR testing in partnership with the Technical Engineering Competence Center (CDC-GTB).
