SUMMARY:Data acquisition and visualisation​
DESCRIPTION:As part of the L-DIH “Test Before Invest” initiative\, this hands-on workshop empowers you to make data-driven decisions based on a solid understanding of data acquisition and visualisation techniques. \nThis workshop aims to build upon your knowledge of machine data acquisition and visualisation\, introduce the main data sources in manufacturing\, relevant protocols (MQTT\, Modbus) and formats (CSV\, JSON\, XML). \nThe ultimate goal is to guide you towards conceptualising a solution relevant to your own operations and to empower you with the insights needed to effectively apply this knowledge. Our trainer will provide practical insights on setting up data pipelines to acquire data from various devices\, including real machines. Furthermore\, you will prototype a monitoring dashboard and create your own visualisations using low-code solutions. \nWorkshop components:\nImpulse presentations on the topic and demonstrator hardware\nHands-on exercises :\nDeal with different data formats and protocols (e.g. JSON\, XML\, MQTT) using Node-Red\nStore time-series data in InfluxDB\nBuild visualisation dashboard with Grafana\nMini hackathon to create a visualisation solution for demonstrator hardware\nHands-on sessions on:\nUsing Modbus/TCP\nSetting up alerts with Grafana\nTools such as Node-Red\, Influx DB\, Grafana \nTo make the most of the training\, participants are required to have a background in industrial manufacturing processes\, basic programming skills (e.g. Javascript) and familiarity with data formats (JSON\, XML\, etc.).
